Closing the Gap

A missing tooth can cause a person to be embarrassed about his or her smile. More importantly a missing tooth can interfere with chewing and speech. Modern dentistry provides many excellent options to replace a missing tooth. One of the recent and most exciting advances in dentistry are dental implants. An implant, usually the best replacement of a missing tooth, is a small metal prosthesis that is anchored in the bone and used to replace the root of the missing tooth. This new implant acts as a “metal root” dental implants that holds a new dental crown Single_Implant. Another great option to replace a missing tooth is a dental bridge. A dental bridge uses the two teeth on either side of the missing tooth as anchors to replace the missing tooth. These anchors, also called abutments, are covered with dental crowns, and then a false crown is attached to the abutments forming a complete dental bridge.

With proper home care and with regular dental cleanings, a dental bridge can last for many years. A dental bridge can replace a front or back tooth. Our office can offer you a wide range of services to achieve a healthy radiant smile, call us for all your dental needs.
